Jon Moxley vs. Andrew Palace on AEW Dark: Elevation

It's not common to see Jon Moxley on Dark, but here he was against young talent Andrew Palace, who looked excited to be sharing the ring with a former AEW Champion.

Moxley won the early sequences, and Wight noted that the former WWE star was putting on a clinic. Palace reacted well by delivering a deep arm drag followed by a dropkick.

Moxley wasn't impressed as he smacked Palace across the face. Jon connected with cross forearm shots across the face. He showed off his vast repertoire of strikes with kicks to the chest.

Palace reversed the suplex and hit a kick, followed by a paintbrush enziguri. Andrew got Moxley in the face with a running elbow. Palace hit a side suplex, but Moxley no-sold it and dropped his opponent with a clothesline.

Moxley pulled out the piledriver next before moving to his finisher. No, it wasn't the Paradigm Shift. Moxley got Palace up in the suplex position before bringing him down into the rear-naked choke. Slick stuff from Mox.

Result: Jon Moxley def. Andrew Palace on AEW Dark: Elevation

D3 vs. Preston "10" Vance on AEW Dark: Elevation

The Prince of Rome vs. the strongest Dark Order member! There was only one logical outcome to this, and it was a convincing win for Preston Vance.

Vance hit a Cazadora German suplex, followed by a delayed vertical suplex. 10 kept D3 up in the air for the full ten-count.

D3, however, hit a step-up enziguri from the apron, followed by a running uppercut in the corner.

Vance shrugged it off and hit two lariats and a running pump kick. D3 hit the ropes and ran into Vance's spinebuster. The Dark Order member locked the Full Nelson hold for the win.

Result: Preston "10" Vance def. D3 on AEW Dark: Elevation

Orange Cassidy (w/ Kris Statlander) vs. VSK on AEW Dark: Elevation

Orange Cassidy faked the 'hands in the pocket' gesture and went for VSK's stomach area. VSK responded with a dropkick, which staggered Cassidy back into the corner.

Orange used his feet to put a wrist lock on VSK. He took it one step further by walking over VSK's back, and the hands were finally in the pockets. Both men put together a fast-paced sequence that ended with a DDT for Cassidy.

He executed a kip-up, but VSK reversed the Orange Punch with a Spanish Fly. VSK had Orange Cassidy in a pre-powerbomb position. Orange, however, escaped and hit a Beach Break out of nowhere.

Result: Orange Cassidy def. VSK on AEW Dark: Elevation

Grade: C
