The Butcher and The Blade picked up the biggest win of their entire pro wrestling career in the main event of AEW Dynamite this past week, but somehow a lot of matches that preceded this one felt more like 'main event material' than this one did.

Yes, we all went into the Women's Championship match on AEW Dynamite knowing that there was absolutely no way that Anna Jay was going to defeat Hikaru Shida but it still felt like a much bigger match than this one. Also, should PAC be losing matches so soon after returning to the roster?

Speaking of the women's division, do check out Thunder Rosa's appearance on AEW from some time ago.

The main event of AEW Dynamite was great, as is to be expected from the four participants of the match, but it wasn't main event material at all.

Even the Chris Jericho and Jake Hager vs. SCU match would have been a better main event, had this match been in the AEW Dynamite undercard.
