Sting and Darby Allin came together this week on Dynamite
#2 Best: Finally, a compelling storyline with Shawn Spears on AEW Dynamite, for the first time in ages

This was a great promo. Loved that he wasn’t w/ Tully, he threw the glove out, and he told a VERY compelling story of his time in AEW. I know AEW has plenty of stables and not every former WWE guy needs to be in AEW, but... Spears, AOP and Erick Rowan. Make it happen, @TonyKhan
It was great to see him sit down with Tony Schiavone this week, where the latter asked the question- what if the problem was Shawn Spears? Shawn Spears lost his cool and informed Tony Schiavone that he would return to AEW Dynamite only if he feels like it, and this is the most interesting storyline he's been part of in some time. Could he join a faction with Tully and FTR or possibly become a member of The Dark Order upon his return to AEW Dynamite?
Tony Schiavone's question addressed something that more than one wrestling fan must have contemplated. Is the reason why certain former WWE stars cannot get over on AEW Dynamite the result of poor booking? Or is it simply that these stars aren't meant for the top spot, wherever they are?
