'Hangman' Adam Page is just far too talented a star to be involved in silly backstage skits on AEW Dynamite with Matt Hardy, who is playing the part of a talent scout these days, and The Dark Order, who just want to be friends with him.
This goes for Matt Hardy too, who just hasn't been able to find his footing since he arrived on AEW Dynamite. The current role just seems like a massive waste of his talent and his ability. One has to remember that Matt Hardy was, by far, the most 'over' person in the entire pro wrestling landscape not long ago. In fact, one can go as far back as IMPACT Wrestling to find a compelling character that really resonated with fans.
'Hangman' Adam Page needs to tear it up with Darby Allin and Cody Rhodes every week, putting on competitive matches that blow the mind. AEW Dynamite needs a compelling, strong babyface like him.
