Serena Deeb (C) vs Red Velvet on AEW Dynamite (NWA Women's Championship match)
The NWA Women's Championship match was next on AEW Dynamite. Serena Deeb started off strong. She was all over Red Velvet, hitting a neckbreaker early on for a near fall.
Deeb followed it up with a series of uppercuts and strikes in the corner. Red Velvet briefly turned things around and unloaded with a series of strikes to the midsection.
Serena Deeb replied with a Dragon Screw and then went to work on Red Velvet's knee. The champion was relentless in her offense but she couldn't keep Velvet down for long. The challenger took Deeb down and hit a standing moonsault.
The action spilled out to ringside as Red Velvet hit a moonsault off the apron to Deeb, who was on the floor. Back in the ring, an enzeguiri from Red Velvet wasn't enough to put the champ away.
Velvet followed it with an Uranage and then headed to the top rope. She went for a moonsault but Deeb got her knees up. The champion followed it up with a Powerbomb and then locked in the Serenity Lock.
Red Velvet managed to turn it into an inside cradle but Deeb kicked out and locked in the Serenity Lock again, forcing the challenger to tap out on AEW Dynamite.
