AEW Dynamite Results: Inner Circle answers Stadium Stampede challenge, The Young Bucks attacked by former WWE star

The Young Bucks (C) vs Varsity Blondes on AEW Dynamite (World Tag Team Championship match)

Griff Garrison and Nick Jackson started as legal men on AEW Dynamite. Garrison forced Nick to tag out almost immediately after a boot to the jaw.

Matt Jackson came in as Brian Pillman Jr tagged in. The Varsity Blondes traded tags and looked comfortable early on in his match.

The Young Bucks finally found the opening they were looking for as they isolated Brian Pillman Jr. and worked him over.

Pillman went for a crossbody but Matt Jackson sidestepped it and showboated. The Bucks continued to trade tags as they worked over Pillman.

The Varsity Blondes went on to hit their powerbomb double-team finisher but Garrison was taken out by Nick Jackson.

Pillman Jr. was isolated in the middle of the ring. He wouldn't go down without a fight and caught Nick Jackson with a superkick. A blind tag from The Bucks and Matt Jackson locked in a Sharpshooter. Garrison came in and broke the hold.

Matt Jackson sprayed Brian Pillman in the eyes with a spray. He then sprayed Julia Hart, who was at ringside. Matt then locked in a Sharpshooter on Pillman Jr. as The Young Bucks retained the titles after Pillman was forced to tap out on AEW Dynamite.

Result: The Young Bucks def. Varsity Blondes

Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston walked into the ring after the match as The Young Bucks celebrated with Don Callis and Brandon Cutler.

Moxley and Kingston both locked in simultaneous sleeper holds on the Bucks on AEW Dynamite. The Champions were put to sleep and Mox and Eddie stole their shoes to close the show.
