CM Punk vs Wardlow on AEW Dynamite (continued)
When CM Punk got back in the ring on AEW Dynamite, Wardlow pounced and rained in stomps in the corner. Wardlow went for a powerbomb but Punk countered with a roundhouse kick.
He followed it up with a rising Knee Strike in the corner but Punk got distracted by MJF who was at ringside, giving Wardlow the opening to hit a Powerbomb.
He followed it up with a second powerbomb before hitting a third. Wardlow then hit a fourth and a fifth powerbomb and went to pin Punk.
MJF got on the apron and stopped the count, saying that he wanted more. Wardlow followed it up with powerbomb number six and seven.
MJF then cleared the timekeeper's table and wanted Wardlow to powerbomb Punk through it and the Pinnacle member followed. CM Punk managed to beat the 10-count and crawl back into the ring just in time.
MJF urged Wardlow to keep powerbombing Punk but this time the former WWE star rolled up Wardlow for the pin and somehow got the win on AEW Dynamite from the jaws of defeat.
