The Pinnacle vs Varsity Blonds and Darius Martin on AEW Dynamite
Considered to be the Horsemen of AEW, Cash Wheeler, Dax Harwood and Shawn Spears of The Pinnacle were in action next, taking on the young team of the Varsity Blondes and Darius Martin of Top Flight. The babyfaces quickly overpowered Spears and briefly worked him in the corner but Spears tagged in Dax Harwood.
Harwood was all over Brian Pillman Jr. and tagged Shawn Spears back in. They double-teamed Pillman Jr., who tagged in Darius Martin. The babyfaces cleared the ring as the members of The Pinnacle were forced to regroup at ringside.
Back in the ring, the members of The Pinnacle had Brian Pillman Jr. isolated in their corner. Darius Martin tagged in and took on both Dax Harwood and Shawn Spears before Harwood shut him down with a brainbuster. Cash Wheeler tagged in, who tagged in Shawn Spears. Wheeler and Harwood booted Pillman Jr. and Griff Garrison off the apron as Shawn Spears hit Darius Martin with a C4 and pinned him to pick up the win for his team.

QT Marshall wants a match with Cody
QT Marshall briefly spoke to Tony Schiavone. He said that no matter what he did in AEW, an asterisk would hover over his name saying "Cody's friend". QT said that other than Tony Khan, he had done the most work since AEW started. QT then got to his point and said wanted an exhibition match with Cody. Cody came out and accepted QT's challenge and agreed to the challenge.
