Cody Rhodes and Lee Johnson vs Cezar Bononi and Peter Avalon on AEW Dynamite
Cody and Avalon started the proceedings in this match on AEW Dynamite, with the former TNT Champion unleashing a flurry of kicks. A blind tag helped Cezar become the legal man as the heel duo tried to take control of the bout.
During the commercial break, Bononi and Avalon thoroughly dominated Cody. After a hard-fought struggle, Cody tagged in Johnson, who unleashed some high-flying offense on the heel duo.
All four men got into the action. While Cody and Bononi fought outside, Johnson and Avalon were wrestling in the ring. The bout on AEW Dynamite ended with Johnson rolling up Avalon for the win.
Post-match, Tony Schiavone interviewed Johnson, who says he thanks the Rhodes family for his first-ever win on AEW Dynamite.

The Champions said that given Santana and Ortiz eliminated them from the match last week, they would give them a shot at their titles on next week's AEW Dynamite.
