MJF came to the ring to confront his archrival, Le Champion Chris Jericho. Jericho has time to come to the ring, as we've got another commercial.
Jericho makes his entrance and how great is it to hear a live crowd sing along with "Judas"?
Right as Jericho gets to the ring, a fan from the crowd tries to get in, and security drags him away before anything can happen.
Jericho doesn't care what the stipulations are for a match against MJF. The Pinnacle leader said that Jericho must face four opponents with stipulations of his choosing and secure back-to-back wins, before he can take on MJF himself.
Jericho agreed and cut a blistering promo on Friedman, including bringing up Greek mythology. Jericho signed the contract, but MJF insisted that the two of them shake hands to seal the deal. Chris shakes his hand, then pulls him in for a Judas Effect.
We get a promo from AEW Women's Champion Britt Baker and then head right into Matt Sydal vs Andrade El Idolo.
Andrade El Idolo vs Matt Sydal on AEW Dynamite
Andrade kicked things off by putting down Sydal and then proceeded to hit a moonsault. Matt moved out of the way but was unable to avoid a standing moonsaultt from El Idolo.
Sydal hit back with a moonsault of his own. Andrade went for a knee in the corner but Sydal dodged it and got a Leg Lariat.
The former NXT Champion, however, turned Sydal inside out with a Leg Lariat of his own. Andrade went to the top but was cut off by Matt. However, Sydal got himself in a pickle and Andrade almost hit the diving foot stomp.
This was avoided by Sydal, who got a meteora in. But Matt was unable to capitalize as Andrade got the double knees in the corner and hit the Hammerlock DDT to get the win on AEW Dynamite.
Result: Andrade El Idolo defeats Matt Sydal
Grade: B
Andrade isn't done and uses his belt to slap Sydal into the Rings of Saturn. Andrade is set to make his mark in AEW and he apparently doesn't care who gets in his way.
