#3 Lance Archer angry backstage after recent match on AEW Dynamite - Reports

Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer recently reported that AEW's Lance Archer was furious after his recent match on Dynamite. The Murderhawk Monster was defeated by Eddie Kingston in the world title eliminator tournament.

The finish to the bout seemingly didn't occur the way AEW higher-ups must have planned. It happened due to Archer's failed moonsault attempt that made him land awkwardly on his head. The aftermath saw Kingston pick up a roll-up victory, which was seemingly rushed to protect Archer.

According to reports, he jammed his neck after that botch. Fortunately, he didn't have any concussion, and the medical team will continue to examine him for further updates. However, Alvarez reports that the AEW star is angry about the entire situation:

"The word we got was that he jammed his neck. He was checked out, he did not have a concussion and I guess they're going to check more stuff tomorrow. He does not have a concussion and he was walking around backstage and from what I understand, very angry about what happened," Bryan Alvarez.

#2 IMPACT Wrestling star wants to face AEW's Christian Cage

IMPACT Wrestling star Matt Cardona recently expressed his desire to reignite a feud with AEW's Christian Cage.

While speaking with WrestleZone, Cardona recalled his rivalry with Cage when they were both in WWE. The former Intercontinental Champion believes things have changed since then, and he's not a rookie anymore.

Matt Cardona added that he would like to get in the ring with Christian Cage to show how much he has grown as a performer:

"Things have changed,” said Cardona. “I wrestled him in 2009, holy s—-, 2009. When I first became the ‘Woo,Woo, Woo!’ guy, and really it was my first like singles run ever because I had been teaming with Brian Myers/Curt Hawkins for my entire career. So I was, even though I wasn’t like a rookie rookie, I was still a rookie to having singles matches. So if we had those good of matches then, when he was carrying me, 100%, he’s a total pro. But now, a decade later, you can bet your a** I can catch up and keep up. I would love to get in there with him and show him how much better I have gotten and also, selfishly, have a kicka** match with one of my favorite wrestlers ever.”
