#2 WCW legend wants AEW star Cody Rhodes to turn heel

AEW's Cody Rhodes has recently become a polarizing figure, with most fans desperately wanting him to turn heel. The American Nightmare received a chorus of boos when he teamed up with PAC to take on Andrade El Idolo and Malakai Black in a tag team match at Full Gear.

While speaking on the Keepin' It 100 podcast, Konnan stated that whatever Rhodes does to get over with fans won't work anymore, even if it's well-intentioned.

The WCW veteran added that Cody Rhodes needs to accept the fact that people don't like him now and that he must embrace the negative persona:

"But here's what the best part is. Poor Cody, he comes out, and there's a disabled guy, and he gives him his weight belt, trying to get over with the people, but he got into the ring, and he got booed. And I'm like, bro, "Don't you understand that whatever you do, even if it's well-intentioned, you're getting heat and everything you do is going to look disingenuous because people don't like you now. Embrace the f***ing heat and turn heel. Why are you fighting this? You're not gonna win," said Konnan.

Despite Konnan's standpoint, Rhodes has publicly denied turning heel anytime soon. He even stated that he would retire before embracing such a character.

#1 Disco Inferno says AEW star MJF would serve better in WWE

Disco Inferno has high words of praise for MJF, stating that he would be a better fit for Vince McMahon's promotion.

Speaking on the Keepin' It 100 podcast, the WCW veteran believes Friedman is a 'good' actor and checks all the boxes that require him to thrive in WWE. Inferno added that fans often forget memorable matches, but not top-notch promos cut by stars like MJF:

"I think MJF would serve much better in WWE. He's a good actor, he checks all the boxes, you know. People forget good matches, the one thing they don't forget is good promos and good interviews and backstage segments. You can forget a match because so much stuff happens in a match," said Disco Inferno.

The Salt of the Earth recently defeated Darby Allin in what turned out to be the match of the night at AEW Full Gear. Now it looks like he will feud with CM Punk, given the confrontation that went down between the two men on Dynamite this week.
