Ahead of a highly-anticipated pay-per-view happening in a few months, a top world champion has just revealed that she still holds a grudge against Mercedes Moné. This would be World of Stardom Champion Tam Nakano.

The CEO has been on a roll since joining AEW back in March. At her debut match at Double or Nothing, she captured the TBS Championship from Willow Nightingale. Just over a month later, she won the NJPW Strong Women's Championship from Stephanie Vaquer at Forbidden Door.

During a recent interview with Tokyo Sports, Tam Nakano talked about two titles that she wished to go after. She mentioned having an interest in Mayu Iwatani's IWGP Women's Title and Mercedes Moné's NJPW Strong Women's Title.

She was seemingly hinted at going after both titles in January as both Wrestle Kingdom and Wrestle Dynasty will be taking place around that time. She also expressed that she still held a grudge against Moné.

Is AJ Styles angry? A former WWE legend thinks so.

“I’ve been after [IWGP Women’s Champion Mayu] Iwatani’s belt for a long time, and now Moné has the belt that I couldn’t get during the dark period. I still hold a grudge against Moné for making me a bully. Wouldn’t it be interesting if we could do this?” [H/T - EwrestlingNews]

The next challenger for Mercedes Moné's TBS Championship has been teased

Over the past few days, Mercedes Moné and Kamille have found a thorn in their side in another top AEW star. This would be Kris Statlander.

On Rampage a few days ago, both The Brickhouse and Stat got into each other's faces after running into each other backstage. The following day on Collision, they got into another confrontation, this time with Mercedes also being involved. Later in the night, the duo launched an attack on Kris Statlander.

This may be the feud that they are heading toward, but it remains to be seen if this match will be made official for WrestleDream, or a future pay-per-view instead.
