Tonight's special Friday episode of Collision kicked off as the two faced off as part of the Continental Contenders Challenge. The winner of this match will go on to All Out tomorrow night and be part of the four-way match with Kazuchika Okada's title on the line.
The ROH World Champion came out first for the match, but Archer blindsided him. The two then brawled down the ramp, and to ringside. The Murderhawk Monster took advantage of this, going as far as busting Briscoe open, as he inflicted a cut on his forehead during this attack.

Despite Lance Archer having the advantage for the majority of this match, Mark Briscoe was able to hold his own and stay on top of things.
Briscoe did not have an easy time as he had to hit two consecutive Froggs Bows to secure his win and get him closer to his second belt.
Fans will have to stay tuned to find out who the two other competitors in the match for the AEW Continental Championship will be, as they will be determined later in the night.
