Adam Cole spoke about the future of AEW recently. He picked a top star as the future of the company.
Daniel Garcia has more than proven that he can handle himself in the ring. Over the years, he has grown to become a fan favorite in AEW. He even holds a victory over Bryan Danielson. Garcia has always been a solid performer and in recent months he has improved himself in the ring and on the mic. However, he was still yet to win a singles title until AEW Full Gear 2024.

At the PPV, Garcia defeated Jack Perry to become the TNT Champion. He is now finally living up to his expectations of being one of the future stars of the company. Even Adam Cole has taken note of his performances.
During a recent interview with Q101, Cole touched upon a lot of topics including the future of the company. He named Garcia as one star who could be the flag bearer of the company in the future:
"Daniel Garcia is a big one for me. I think he is just unbelievably talented, so so good. Whether it’s in the ring, on the microphone, he has a hunger to want to be better and want to be as good as humanly possible. He really is, it’s amazing to watch his development. Danny Garcia definitely gets me really excited thinking about the future of AEW, he’s one that comes to mind.” [H/T PWMania]
Adam Cole doesn't think Bobby Fish would ever return to AEW
Bobby Fish and Adam Cole have a lot of history together. They both were part of the Undisputed Era during their time in NXT. Fish also joined Cole in AEW after the latter's debut. He reunited with Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, and The Young Bucks to form Undisputed Elite. However, his run in the company only lasted till July 2022 after which he left the promotion.
Speaking on Conversations with The Wrestling Classic, Adam Cole spoke about the possibility of Fish returning to AEW. The Panama City Playboy said that while he would love to see his former stablemate return to the promotion, he doesn't think it will happen:
“I mean I would love it. I’m not sure if it will happen, but I think I think it’d be incredible. I love Bobby Fish."
It will be interesting to see whether Adam Cole will reunite with Bobby Fish in AEW again.
