Samoa Joe had the hot seat tonight as he addressed the next challenger for his AEW World Championship a few days before Dynasty. He did not mince his words and mentioned how little he thought of his opponent.

At the pay-per-view, he will put his title on the line against Swerve Strickland, who has emerged as his clear-cut challenger. Swerve has had great momentum for a few months now, but his last title opportunity was hampered by his intense rivalry with 'Hangman' Adam Page. This time around, he will finally get his one-on-one shot for the championship.

Samoa Joe claimed that Swerve was a choke artist, someone who always came up short when going for championship gold, and he mentioned that, unfortunately, this would also be the case this weekend at Dynasty.

Samoa Joe claimed that it was still his time, as he would end up doing what he's always done: decimate his opponent and move closer to becoming the greatest AEW World Champion of all time.

He also reminded Swerve that he was a choke artist, but come this weekend at the pay-per-view, it will be Joe who chokes him out.

It remains to be seen what goes down between the two, but they'll have center stage this weekend at Dynasty in what will likely be the headlining bout.
