AEW has officially announced that a member of the Death Riders will be involved in a major competition starting this Wednesday. This is a big update, given that Full Gear ended just days ago.
Jon Moxley has been on a conquering spree, and that is partly down to his friends. One of them is Claudio Castagnoli. He has been present around Moxley and has patiently waited for his turn, and it looks like his patience has paid off.
It has been announced that Castagnoli will participate in the Continental Classic on Dynamite. The winner will get a shot at the Continental Championship at the Worlds End pay-per-view.
“The Death Riders will be represented in the 2024 Continental Classic by AEW World Trios Champion, @ClaudioCSRO! The AEW Continental Classic starts THIS WEDNESDAY, 11/27 Thanksgiving Eve #AEWDynamite on @TBSNetwork!”
AEW star Darby Allin thought Claudio Castagnoli broke his ribs
Darby Allin has been in the wars with Jon Moxley and Co, which doesn't bother him. He goes the extra mile, often to the detriment of his health.
A few weeks back, Allin was involved in a skirmish with the Death Riders. At one point, Claudio Castagnoli pushed him into the ring post, where he thought he had broken his ribs. He revealed all this when he appeared on SENQ 693AM.
"I'm used to it. I just want to stay in one piece and not end up going to the hospital. I feel like I'm dodging bullets. After last week of getting thrown into the steel post by Claudio, I thought my ribs broke for a second. When I hit the ground I was like, 'Ughh.' This is what I live for. I live for the craziness. I wouldn't have it any other way," Darby Allin said.
Allin did show up at Full Gear after Jon Moxley successfully defeated Orange Cassidy.
