Cody Rhodes vs QT Marshall on AEW Dynamite

It was all pretty even early on as Cody and QT Marshall went back and forth on AEW Dynamite. Clearly, these two men knew each other well. QT took control of the match, putting pressure on Cody's shoulder. He followed it up with a legdrop onto Cody's arm before continuing to work on the arm and shoulder.

The match started to get heated as Cody slowly began to take control of the match. QT was dumped out of the ring. Cody cordially invited him to come back in and he didn't look happy. QT ended up clocking Arn Anderson in the jaw as soon as he got into the ring before walking off onto the ramp.

The AEW Dynamite match ends in no contest

RATING - C

The members of the Nightmare Family who surrounded the AEW ring quickly entered to check on QT. There was a commotion in the ring when fans saw Aaron Solow, Nick Comoroto, and Anthony Ogogo, blindside and attack the rest of the Nightmare Family. It was quickly clear that this was a plan hatched by QT Marshall. They put Dustin Rhodes through the steel steps, leaving him a bloody mess before fans saw Anthony Ogogo catching Cody with a left hand.

QT would have punished Cody further if Red Velvet hadn't come out and got in the way, forcing QT and his boys to back off.

Red Velvet was backstage on AEW Dynamite for an interview but Jade Cargill blindsided her and left her on the floor.
