AEW officially introduces new title; champion to be crowned at All In 2025

AEW is set to make history at All In Texas on July 12 at the Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. The night will be made more monumental with the crowning of a Unified Champion who will receive a brand new title.

In the second hour of the Summer Blockbuster special event, Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada met inside the ring. They joined Tony Schiavone after the fans witnessed an incredible video package showcasing the storied rivalry between two of the biggest stars in professional wrestling.

The duo was set to sign the contract for their 'Winner Take All' match coming up at All In Texas. Omega and Okada were set to put their International and Continental Titles on the line. However, Schiavone announced that the winner of the match will receive a new championship and be crowned the new AEW Unified Champion.

The championship was unveiled in the middle of the ring and received a massive ovation from the audience. The belt had insignia related to Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada on its side plates and was a spectacular piece of gold hardware.

With a new title introduced in AEW, the stakes for the dream showdown that will happen after seven years have been raised to an entirely new level.
