A Hall of Famer recently called out AEW's creative department. He stated that the company fumbled a WWE legend Batista-esque star's run in the company. According to NWA Hall of Famer Bill Apter, he barely notices the AEW star in current programming.

The star in question is Wardlow. Despite being on a monster run during his feud with MJF, The Wardog is barely given screen time at this point. Considering his cult following and in-ring talent, it was assumed by many that he would be AEW's version of The Animal, Batista. However, his momentum has dipped significantly so far, and he is barely in any storylines.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's UnSKripted, veteran journalist Bill Apter pointed out how Wardlow had been misused in Tony Khan's company. He stated that the star was out of the mix.

As of now, it remains to be seen how Wardlow will be booked going forward, and whether he will jump ship to WWE someday.
