AEW star almost run over by a car on live television

Just a few moments ago on AEW Dynamite, a top star was almost run over by a car following their interview backstage. The driver was revealed to be one of their rivals.

This would be Kris Statlander almost falling victim to Kamille and Mercedes Moné. For some time now, the two parties have been feuding with one another after Statlander staked her claim to the TBS Championship. The CEO has sent Kamille to do her bidding, but she has not been able to contain the 29-year-old.

Moments ago, Kris Statlander was being interviewed backstage by Renee Paquette regarding her match with Mercedes Moné being made official for AEW Full Gear in a few weeks.

As the interview just got over, a car suddenly pulled up and tried to run Kris over. It was revealed that Kamille was driving the vehicle, with Moné riding shotgun. The TBS Champion was not happy that The Brickhouse missed the mark and asked her to get out of the car and finish the job.

Stat brawled with them and was able to outmaneuver Kamille by closing the car door on her arm. She then turned her attention to Mercedes Moné and with her brute strength, was able to slam her forcefully on the car's hood.

If these scenes repeat at AEW Full Gear in a few weeks, Kris Statlander could be standing tall as the new TBS Champion at the end of the night.
