Anna Jay pays homage to 2-time WWE Divas Champion

Anna Jay paid homage to a two-time WWE Divas Champion in a very subtle way on the latest edition of AEW Collision on Saturday. The star to whom Jay paid tribute is none other than Hall of Famer Nikki Bella.

Bella is one of the biggest names in women’s wrestling. She is known as a trailblazer and an inspiration for the younger women of this era. AEW star Anna Jay showed how much she respects her with her ring gear on Collision.

A fan posted an image of her wrestling gear from the show and compared it to Nikki Bella on the side and wrote:

“Anna wearing a Nikki Bella inspired gear! @annajay___ ❤️.”

To that, Jay wrote back with a red heart emoji.

She even acknowledged that she paid homage to the former WWE star with another Twitter post immediately after the show on Saturday.

Konnan wants Anna Jay to move to WWE

WCW veteran Konnan has spoken his mind again and said that Anna Jay should switch companies and work under Triple H.

Jay’s career has stalled a bit in AEW, and a move could do her well. While speaking on his K100 podcast, Konnan compared Anna's situation to Jade Cargill and said that the proof lies in the pudding.

"Yeah, there's a couple of people there that I think would do better in WWE and she's one of them. And I don't think she has heat because of the [Jack] Perry thing. It's just normal non-sensical AEW's what I would call it. But yeah, she has everything to be a huge star and her value is not going up staying there. Look at how fast they made Jade [Cargill] a star over there," he said.

If that move does happen, it will be huge and will go down as something similar to when Jade Cargill made the switch. It will get people talking about what could have been.
