The Twitterverse was sent into a whirlwind after a WWE legend rather bluntly insulted Brock Lesnar. Many fans are calling on the veteran to confront The Beast Incarnate and perhaps line himself up as Lesnar's next challenger.

After viciously attacking Cody Rhodes on the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, Brock Lesnar looks to have the upper hand ahead of their blockbuster match at the upcoming Night of Champions Premium Live Event. Lesnar is looking to avenge his loss to The American Nightmare from their initial encounter at Backlash.

The continuous storyline throughout this week's RAW revolved around Rhodes' seemingly broken arm and whether he would be able to compete in Saudi Arabia this weekend. The show closed off with none other than Triple H advising Cody to seek medical attention. However, it could be another WWE legend that comes to Rhodes' aid instead.

Dustin Rhodes, current AEW star and Cody's real-life brother, reacted to Lesnar's assault via social media, calling the decorated combat sports athlete a "piece of sh*t." Fans quickly took notice of this and began speculating whether The Natural could be on his way back to WWE to confront his brother's adversary.

With WWE hosting Night of Champions this weekend, AEW will be running its fourth installment of Double or Nothing. Cody and Dustin's incredibly emotional match at the event's first edition in many ways, set the tone for what fans would see from The American Nightmare for years to come.

Whether Dustin shows up on WWE programming any time soon to help out his brother remains to be seen. Nonetheless, it looks as though Cody's back is against the wall, and he will have to pull out all the stops to come out victorious against Brock Lesnar.

Huge matches set for WWE Night of Champions

Along with Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar, other blockbuster matches are set to take place in Saudi Arabia this weekend.

Roman Reigns will look to do what his cousins, The Usos, could not when he teams up with Solo Sikoa to challenge Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens with the hopes of bringing tag team gold back to The Bloodline.

Additionally, a new World Heavyweight Champion will be crowned when Seth Rollins and AJ Styles meet in the ring in what is a surefire match of the night contender.

Elsewhere on the card, Mustafa Ali will challenge Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship, and Bianca Belair will defend her RAW Women's Championship against Asuka in a WrestleMania rematch.

Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch will also be in action, as they take on Natalya and Trish Stratus, respectively.
