Former WWE and AEW World Champion CM Punk's name was chanted during a title match at Full Gear 2024 pay-per-view. The top star in the match has a history with The Second City Saint.

CM Punk was fired from AEW last year after a backstage incident at the All In 2023 event involving the top star in question, Jack Perry. Earlier this year, Tony Khan's promotion aired the footage of the altercation between Punk and Perry, which received a lot of backlash. The references to Punk are still being mad here and there.

At the AEW Full Gear 2024 pay-per-view, Jack Perry was set to defend his TNT Championship against Daniel Garcia. As soon as The Scapegoat made the way to the ring, the crowd in Newark began chanting "CM Punk." There were also slow chants for The Second City Saint throughout the match.

Speaking of the bout, Jack Perry lost his TNT title to Daniel Garcia after a great match.

On the other hand, Punk returned on the latest episode of WWE SmackDown and joined Roman Reigns' War Games team to fight against the new Bloodline. It remains to be seen what transpires at the Survivor Series War Games this Saturday.
