AEW star The Beast Mortos was last seen on the June 11 episode of Dynamite, where he lost a singles match against Bandido. Mortos joined the La Facción Ingobernable (LFI) stable after losing a three-way match to Hologram in the Grand Slam edition of Collision all the way back in September of last year. He has been an integral part of the heel stable ever since.

The Mexican luchador has recently made a proud announcement on X, and congratulations are in order for the AEW star. He stated that he has passed his law exam and will officially be a licensed lawyer in the upcoming months. He also made a humorous reference to the niche legal market of U.S. divorces, which rose by 4% in 2024.
“Officially in a few months, I will be a lawyer. If you don't want to pay your ex-wife a divorce settlement, call me. I'm still learning to speak, but I can help you, rawwwwwwwrrrrrrr,” he said.

Still, The Beast Mortos being part of the AEW Summer Blockbuster card in the weeks leading up to All In is a testament to the fact that he has been able to hold his own in the Jacksonville-based promotion. Over the last 52 weeks, he has competed in 42 matches, averaging almost one match per week.
This high activity level indicates the trust Tony Khan and AEW creative place in him. The star, along with his LFI faction members Dralistico and Rush, would surely hope to aim for gold in the coming weeks, with the Trios title being the primary aim.
