A former WWE Superstar has just thrown his tag team partner under the bus following certain occurrences on the latest episode of AEW Rampage. The duo in question is Matt Menard and Angelo Parker (fka Ever-Rise).
Parker is currently in a love angle with Ruby Soho, much to the dismay of both Saraya and Menard, who feel as if this would be a distraction for their tag team partners. Last night, the two broke up after footage of the former JAS member kissing Harley Cameron was caught on camera. This was all a set-up by Saraya, as she was the one who set Parker up.
On Twitter, Matt Menard reacted after the events that happened to his tag team partner. But surprisingly, instead of standing up to them, and defending his friend, he had an "I told you so" moment.
"Told you he was a pervert," Menard wrote.
After Menard and Saraya both looked to be unsupportive of the couple, it seems that the former may have also played a part in this plan. On the other hand, he could have had nothing to do with this and simply liked the outcome of it all.
How did the rest of the night for former WWE Superstar Angelo Parker go?
After going through a breakup and having a birthday cake meant for Ruby Soho thrown at his face, Angelo Parker had a match against the Dark Order.
As usual, he was teaming up with two other former WWE Superstars, Jake Hager (FKA Jack Swagger) and Matt Menard. Funnily, as the trio made their entrance, the residue of the cake thrown at him was still present on Parker's face.
Dark Order, on the other hand, was accompanied by their leader, Negative One, who was Brodie Lee's son. In the end, they were able to honor their former leader's legacy, and the Dark Order came out with the win.
Not a great night for the former WWE Superstar in the slightest, but in the end the truth may come out, and his name may be cleared soon.
