Earlier tonight on AEW Rampage, a popular veteran confronted a former WWE superstar. The latter proposed a match with Full Gear implications. The two individuals in question were Roderick Strong and Jake "The Snake" Roberts.

The Undisputed Kingdom has been trying to bring The Beast Mortos back to them for some time now. The luchador once tagged along with them, and they treated him like one of their members. However, recently, Mortos has decided to align with La Faccion Ingobernable, which Roberts now manages.
During a backstage segment, the Hall of Famer confronted Roderick Strong during his interview with Lexy Nair. He told Strong to back away from The Beast Mortos as he was now a member of LFI and could not afford any distractions.

The faction is set for a match with The Acclaimed as they look to qualify for the match at AEW Full Gear. Jake Roberts wanted LFI in full focus and even threatened to have Mortos forcefully push Strong away. The Messiah of the Backbreaker brought up the idea of having him face The Beast Mortos instead tomorrow night on Collision.
Seeing as Strong needs to rack up two more wins to face MJF at AEW Full Gear, this may work to the advantage of both parties.

If allowed to produce one final storyline involving his idols, he would have Orton lock horns with John Cena, would be their one last big feud as both of them seem to be approaching the tail end of their careers.
