Tony Khan hugs Komander backstage after major title win
Komander was on a losing streak for the last few weeks. He lost all three of his matches in the 2024 Continental Classic. But he picked a major victory at a recent event.
He defeated AR Fox, Blake Christian, Brian Cage, Mark Davis, and Willie Mack in the Survival of the Fittest six-way elimination match at ROH Final Battle on December 20 to win the ROH World TV Title. After the masked star's victory, Tony Khan met him backstage to congratulate him and hugged him.
The luchador has been a part of the All Elite Wrestling roster since March 2023. He made his debut in ROH around the same time. Komander's victory at Final Battle was his first title win in the Tony Khan-led promotion.
