Hangman Adam Page planted the seeds for the next phase of his current rivalry during the main event of this week's AEW Dynamite. The rival in question here is none other than Jay White.

Earlier this year, in the semifinal round of the 2024 Owen Hart Cup, Adam Page beat Jay White on Collision to advance one step closer to an AEW World Title shot, courtesy of outside interference from Christian Cage. After returning from injury on the five-year anniversary episode of Dynamite, The Switchblade revealed that he had two men on his hit list he planned to take revenge on for disrupting his World Championship journey.

White kept his word as he defeated The Hangman in singles competition at WrestleDream 2024. The former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion then took on Christian Cage in the main event of the latest episode of Dynamite.
Unfortunately for The Switchblade, although he had The Patriarch set up for Blade Runner towards the end of the bout, the referee was distracted by interference from Kip Sabian, which allowed Hangman Page to deliver a Buckshot Lariat on White, enabling Cage to make the cover and pick up the win.

It remains to be seen how Jay White will retaliate against The Cowboy as their feud continues to develop in AEW.
