Horrifying footage of Kenny Omega in pool of blood emerges after AEW Summer Blockbuster 2025

AEW star Kenny Omega was involved in an unfortunate incident tonight at Summer Blockbuster. He made his return to the company at the 2024 Worlds End pay-per-view after overcoming diverticulitis and had been absent for seven months. Moments after his return, he locked horns with his arch-nemesis, Kazuchika Okada.

The duo has been at each other's throats since their time in NJPW. They wrestled unforgettable matches four times in the company. They will face off for the fifth time overall and the first time in AEW at All In: Texas. Additionally, the stakes for their match couldn’t be higher, as Okada's Continental Championship and Omega's International Title will both be on the line.

Tonight, on Summer Blockbuster, a new AEW Unified Championship was unveiled during their contract signing. While fans were left in awe after looking at the new title, Okada orchestrated an attack on Omega and brought out Don Callis for the distraction. The Rainmaker mostly targeted Omega's stomach area. The former didn't even stop when Kenny Omega was stretchered out of the venue.

After an elbow drop onto the stretcher, Kenny Omega coughed up blood. Now, backstage footage is circulating on X/Twitter, showing the former AEW World Champion in significant pain.
