House of Black members recently met former WWE star Mustafa Ali. The Stamford-based promotion released the latter in September 2023.
The former TNA X Division Champion worked in WWE for around seven years. Despite the lengthy tenure, he never won a single gold in the company. More than 430 days ago, on September 21, 2023, it was announced that he was released from the sports entertainment juggernaut, joining several other wrestlers who were let go that day.
After leaving the Stamford-based company, Mustafa returned to the independent circuit. He won his latest match against Myron Reed on November 10 at PWV Brawl In The Beer Hall at Lakefront Brewery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Mustafa Ali was recently spotted training with House of Black members Buddy Matthews and Malakai Black at Think Fit Club in Niles, Illinois. Check out a few pictures of them hanging out together at the gym.

Buddy Matthews participated in the Four Way match at AEW Full Gear Zero Hour. He defeated Dante Martin, Komander, and The Beast Mortos to win the big match.
Following his victory in the multi-man match, he received tons of praise from the wrestling universe. He logged into X (fka Twitter) to appreciate the love and support he got from his fans.

While the Australian star gains momentum in the Jacksonville-based company, stablemate and House of Black leader Malakai Black's AEW deal is reportedly coming up at the end of 2024 or early 2025. There has been speculation that he might not re-sign with Tony Khan's company and return to WWE. However, Malakai recently shared a video on Instagram, in which he said he would not be retiring anytime soon nor would he be leaving AEW.
