Huge update on Mercedes Moné's (fka Sasha Banks) future plans outside AEW

Mercedes Moné is arguably one of the biggest names in All Elite Wrestling today. She is the reigning AEW TBS Champion as well as the NJPW Strong Women's Champion.

Tony Khan has booked The CEO to win several high-stakes matches since her arrival. Besides making waves in All Elite Wrestling, she is set to return to New Japan Pro-Wrestling soon.

Moné's next match in NJPW would be against Hazuki at the upcoming Strong Style Evolved television special. She would defend the Strong Women's Championship at the December 15 event.

Mercedes Moné on working with WWE star Carmella

Before joining AEW, Mercedes Moné was signed to WWE, where she was known as Sasha Banks. While Moné is no longer part of the global juggernaut, she still has a good relationship with former SmackDown Women's Champion Carmella.
