An irate AEW star cut a fiery promo on this week's episode of Dynamite, taking vicious shots at former World Champion MJF. The talent in question is Adam Cole, Friedman's former tag partner.
In the latest chapter of Cole's rivalry with MJF, The Wolf of Wrestling cost The Panama City Playboy the chance to face him at Full Gear 2024 by helping Konosuke Takeshita beat the former WWE Superstar in his third singles match since returning to action from injury. Instead, Friedman faced Cole's stable-mate Roderick Strong at the PPV, defeating the latter via submission.
After the match, however, MJF further injured Strong, attacking his arm with a steel chair before Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, and The Kingdom could make the save. The Violent Artist even shoved Cole down out of frustration, seemingly because the latter did not heed his advice about not letting his friends fight his battles before helping Strong to the back.
Adam Cole and The Kingdom appeared on this week's episode of AEW Dynamite. The former NXT Champion once again challenged The Salt of the Earth to face him and vowed retribution on Friedman for his assault on Roderick Strong.
Afterward, however, Kyle O'Reilly made his way to the ring and insisted that he wanted to fight MJF himself to avenge The Messiah of the Backbreaker.
"I am so sick and tired of playing this game. Max, if you were half the man you claim to be, then you'd be a man and fight me, but you're not 'cause you're a little b****. Max, after what you did to Roddy, I swear to god, hell, I swear on my own mother, when I get my hands on you, I'm going to beat you within an inch of your pathetic life," said Cole.
It remains to be seen when MJF and Adam Cole square off one-on-one next in AEW.
