For some time now it has been unclear whether the group would continue to be known as The Blackpool Combat Club. Last week, Moxley filed a trademark for "Death Riders," and it has now been confirmed that this was meant for his faction.
Tonight on Dynamite, PAC and Claudio Castagnoli were set for action against Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin. Since they weren't accompanied by Jon Moxley, the group entered the arena with the faction's theme song, and on the big screen, their new name was flashed along with the group's new official logo.

Throughout the commentary for the match, Excalibur and Tony Schiavone referred to them as Jon Moxley's Death Riders. It seems that the name is meant for the AEW World Champion's subordinates.
Now that Bryan Danielson, one of the co-founders of The Blackpool Combat Club, is no longer around, this could be one of the main reasons Jon has decided to change the group's name for good. It remains to be seen if anyone else will join their ranks moving forward.
