A major AEW star is not happy with Donald Trump's latest initiative in LA. He has now spoken out against it.
Brody King is the latest to comment on the ongoing tensions in Los Angeles. Donald Trump took office as the 47th president of the United States earlier this year. Trump's stance on immigration laws and illegal immigrants has been pretty clear since the very beginning of his campaign. He has now taken a drastic step to prevent illegal immigration.
On June 6 and 7, the Trump administration initiated aggressive immigration enforcement raids in Los Angeles, targeting workplaces. This has resulted in widespread fear and protests across the city. Trump responded by mobilizing the Marines and National Guard to control the protests. Public opinion has been divided regarding the ongoing tensions. However, one AEW star has decided to raise his voice against this issue.
Amid these ongoing tensions, Brody King took to his Instagram Stories to clearly state which side of the fence he stood on. He criticized the Trump administration, stating that what was going on in LA was "illegal." He further added that being undocumented in the US is not a criminal offense but a civil violation, and one should not face imprisonment over it. He also criticized the armed forces' methods of dragging people off the street at gunpoint and called it a "felony."
