MJF is quite blunt when it comes to expressing his thoughts. He speaks his mind without thinking about the repercussions he might have to deal with later. In a now-deleted tweet, he disrespected a non-AEW star.

Last month, he called out Revolution Pro Wrestling's top star Micahel Oku, and challenged him for a match at Rev Pro's Summer Sizzler Road To The Anniversary event on Sunday, August 11 at York Hall, Bethnal Green. Friedman will also put his AEW American Championship on the line.

In the buildup to the match, The Wolf of Wrestling has been taking shots at Oku for the last few weeks. He recently posted a tweet where he seemingly humiliated his upcoming opponent and called him a "meth baby" and also a "dumb" person. However, he immediately deleted the tweet just a few minutes later. The reason for this is not clear, but it could be that the tweet was highly controversial.

Michael Oku is confident that he'll beat MJF

A few days ago, Michael Oku did a interview with Cultaholic. During the interview, Oku confidently stated that he believes he can shock the world by beating MJF. The star also highlighted the fact that Friedman challenged him for the match and not the other way around which means The Salt of the Earth sees potential in him.

“I was just here putting full focus into the Copper Box, and he said 'I want to wrestle Michael Oku,' so no matter what he says in terms of insults, he can’t change that fact. I am sure I am going to shock the world once again,” he said.

Oku is the reigning Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion. He has held the title for 390+ days now. He won the belt by defeating Great-O-Khan at Epic Encounter on 9th July 2023.
