Former Divas Champion Natalya recently said that a top star was signed to WWE due to her work in different promotions worldwide. She also reflected on the talent's iconic feud in AEW.
Natalya recently spilled the beans on Mariah May's arrival in World Wrestling Entertainment following her AEW departure. May surprisingly showed up on the latest episode of NXT after weeks of rumors and speculations. However, the Stamford-based promotion has yet to reveal The Glamour's new on-screen moniker.
On the Busted Open podcast, Natalya recently pitched multiple rivalries for Mariah May in NXT and on the main roster. She also recalled May's iconic feud with Toni Storm, which started in summer last year and concluded in March 2025. The Queen of Harts further explained how May's work outside WWE led to her signing.

“She has done amazing work in the past. I mean, she wouldn’t be in WWE had she not done great work prior. Her stuff with Toni [Storm] was some of my favorite stuff. It was just so fun. WWE legend has high hopes for Mariah May following her NXT debut
Tag team wrestling legend Matt Hardy believes that Mariah May will be a big deal on NXT and the main roster. On his Extreme Life podcast, Hardy declared that The Glamour will become a staple of the Stamford-based promotion's women's division for years to come.
"She worked hard in Japan, she got herself over, she came to AEW, she did some amazing, compelling, super entertaining TV. It's a win, man. I think she's gonna do great in NXT. I think she'll end up moving up to the main roster and she'll do great there, and I think for years to come she'll be a staple in WWE's women's division."
Only time will tell what the future has in store for Mariah May after her NXT arrival and when she will join the main roster.
