WWE RAW commentator Pat McAfee is a very popular figure in the Stamford-based company, and he seemingly made a subtle AEW reference during the Money in the Bank PLE 2025. Fans on social media also noticed the possible reference.

Various WWE commentators have occasionally made a number of references to All Elite Wrestling stars in the past. During Money in the Bank, McAfee mentioned a song that the Tony Khan-led promotion recently used at Double or Nothing 2025.

During the Anarchy in the Arena Match, the popular song Let the Bodies Hit the Floor was played. As the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match was going on, Guilia was fixing the ladders, and Pat McAfee said, "Let the bodies hit the floor after they hit the ladders." Pat seemingly referenced this year's AEW match by mentioning the song.

Speaking of the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match, it was a chaotic battle with all the women putting their bodies on the line. In the end, Naomi prevailed over the other participants by retrieving the briefcase and winning the MITB contract after a great performance. Fans will have to wait and see how the rest of the show turns out.
