After departing WWE in June last year, Ricochet made his much-anticipated AEW debut at the All In: London as a surprise entrant in the Casino Gauntlet Match. Since then, he has regularly featured on television, becoming an integral part of the show as one of their top heels. He recently took to social media to bash fans of the Stamford-based promotion who were making fun of Tony Khan for always listening to the fans a few weeks ago.

Mina Shirakawa recently made her AEW debut, and the creative team gave her a new theme song, which the fans didn’t like and demanded her old music. Tony Khan listened to them and reinstated her original music, as a result, he became subject to a lot of online mockery from WWE fans. Interestingly, when R-Truth returned as Ron Killings at Money in the Bank after seemingly being let go by the company a week ago, because fans kept asking for him and chanting his name at every show. This forced management to re-sign him, and the same fans are now calling it a work.

This was clearly not the case, given how R-Truth tweeted and how WWE Superstars and crews reacted to the news of his exit. Ricochet called out this hypocrisy by the fans, referring to them as mental patients.

“I remember when Tony changed Mina's music back to her original music and the fans s**t on him saying, ‘Tony let's the fans make decisions.’ But now, when an entire company hires someone back, it's ‘aww we got worked.’ Haha a bunch of mental patients,” he wrote.

Ricochet reveals reason behind not wrestling in the indies

The Only and Only recently responded to a fan on social media. He was asked if established stars like Jon Moxley and Mercedes Mone could go around the world and wrestle in the indies, what excuse did the rest of the AEW roster have for not doing the same?

Ricochet, known for keeping his heel persona alive even on social media, responded on X/Twitter by stating that nobody could afford his fee.

In the latest episode of Dynamite, Ricochet made clear his intention of forming a new faction that could assist him to win gold in AEW. He said he was currently recruiting eligible people who could further his cause.

Ricochet still doesn’t have a match at AEW All In: Texas, and it will be interesting to see who he manages to recruit in his faction in the weeks leading up to the event and how he manages to get on the match card for the upcoming PPV.
