Swerve Strickland has just responded after he was called out by a certain former WWE veteran earlier tonight on AEW Dynamite. He was ready for anything that was coming his way amid his drama with MVP.

Moments ago, Shelton Benjamin made his in-ring debut against Lio Rush. He came out on top after a dominant showing. Post-match, MVP got on the mic to call out Swerve and show him what was coming to him after he turned their offer down at WrestleDream.
Swerve Strickland was interviewed backstage by Renee Paquette regarding this, and he was unfazed by the situation. He still stood by his decision to turn them down. He acknowledged Shelton's in-ring debut and claimed that he was ready should they bring the fight to him next.

Swerve wished to remind them that he was still the most dangerous man on the roster, and he was not to be taken lightly.
Swerve Strickland claimed he was ready to face off with Shelton Benjamin anytime and anywhere, and all they needed to do was book the match. This could end up being his first bout since his loss to Hangman Adam Page at All Out. It could also be a chance to end the slump he's been in since losing his World Championship.

Growing up, Enzo admired former world champions like AJ Styles, Will Ospreay, Bryan Danielson, Triple H, and Randy Orton for their finishing moves. As an adult, he started to appreciate their character work, as they juggled between heel and babyface gimmicks.
If allowed to produce one final storyline involving his idols, he would have Orton lock horns with John Cena, would be their one last big feud as both of them seem to be approaching the tail end of their careers.
