The Hurt Syndicate vs. Jon Moxley's group would 'raise the temperature of AEW,' believes Bill Apter (Exclusive)

Bill Apter made a huge claim about AEW and said that the Hurt Syndicate taking on Jon Moxley’s Death Riders would raise the temperature of the company. The fans would no doubt love to see this happen.

Moxley’s Death Riders and MVP’s Hurt Syndicate are two of the hottest factions in the company right now, and rightly so. Both squads left their mark at Full Gear 2024, and it seems like it is only a matter of time before the two groups collide.

Bill Apter was speaking exclusively on Sportskeeda’s The Wrestling Time Machine with Mac Davis and Teddy Long when he said that the two groups need to take each other on.

“If they wanna draw, they’ve got Jon Moxley keep saying that he is going to take over TBS and he didn't this past week when they were there recently. You need to put the Hurt Syndicate against the Moxley group now at this point. They are both two heel factions but I think that would raise the temperature of AEW. I really do.” [2:45 - 3:14]

Tony Khan hails Jon Moxley as AEW’s greatest star

Tony Khan is very protective of his stars and will go the extra mile when it comes to taking care of them. One of the ways he does that is by speaking highly of them, and he did just that when he called Jon Moxley his greatest star.

Khan was speaking with CHGO Sports when he was asked about Moxley, and he said:

“Jon Moxley is AEW’s greatest star ever. Jon Moxley’s the four-time World Champion. At the beginning of the launch of AEW, we ended our first-ever show with Jon Moxley standing atop the poker chips at Double or Nothing, and it’s been that way since.”

It is no surprise to see him praise his top star in this way, and it only goes to show how much he values Jon Moxley.
