After her recent defeat at CMLL Super Viernes against La Catalina, Storm claimed that she was retiring from the Jacksonville-based promotion.

The former AEW Women's World Champion was set to compete at an upcoming CMLL show on December 13, 2024. She was supposed to team with Red Velvet to face the team of La Catalina and Tessa Blanchard. However, she has now been pulled from the show. The match has been changed and will feature Red Velvet & Viva Van vs Lluvia & La Jarochita.
