Darby Allin pulled off yet another dangerous stunt tonight on AEW Collision, but it seemed like he crashed and burned as the impact did not look as clean. The official had to check up on him after the spot.

On the latest episode of Collision, Allin faced Claudio Castagnoli as part of the Continental Classic tournament. In the Gold League, Darby Allin, Will Ospreay, and Claudio Castagnoli were tied heading into tonight, and this week was crucial as this tie was set to be broken.
At a point in the match, he climbed up an arch they had set up on the stage and lept from there with a crossbody to Claudio. He landed perfectly on his opponent, but his head seemingly bounced off the stage upon dropping down. While they were recovering from the spot, the official went to Darby Allin to check up on him.

It seems that it wasn't a big deal as they were able to continue the match, and Castagnoli ended up winning by sneaking a punch with brass knuckles.
This puts him in a tie with Riccohet, who also won earlier tonight, for the top spot in the Gold League. Both men are now down to their final set of matches for the Continental Classic.

Growing up, Enzo admired former world champions like AJ Styles, Will Ospreay, Bryan Danielson, Triple H, and Randy Orton for their finishing moves. As an adult, he started to appreciate their character work, as they juggled between heel and babyface gimmicks.
If allowed to produce one final storyline involving his idols, he would have Orton lock horns with John Cena, would be their one last big feud as both of them seem to be approaching the tail end of their careers.
