A current AEW performer shared some adorable pictures with a WWE Superstar on the occasion of Thanksgiving. The two stars have known each other for the past few years as they worked in the same promotion.

The stars in question are the WWE's Kairi Sane and AEW's Mina Shirakawa. The latter made her All Elite Wrestling debut earlier this year in April when she defeated Anna Jay on an episode of Dynamite. She has made a number of appearances on All Elite TV this year despite being signed to the Japanese promotion World Wonder Ring STARDOM.

Kairi Sane, on the other hand, made her WWE return last year after being released back in 2020. During her time outside the Stamford-based promotion, Kairi also had a run in STARDOM from 2022 to 2023 and she knows Shirakawa from there. Now it looks like the two have crossed the Forbidden Door.

On the occasion of Thanksgiving, Mina Shirakawa took to X (formerly Twitter) to share some pictures with the WWE Superstar Kairi Sane and some of their family and friends. Mina also wished her fans a happy Thanksgiving with the following heartfelt message:

"Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone❤️❤️"

Mina Shirakawa will challenge for the AEW Women's World Title next month

Ever since her arrival in AEW earlier this year, Mina Shirakawa has been involved in a storyline with her former friend and current All Elite Women's World Champion Mariah May. However, at the recent Full Gear 2024 Pay-Per-View, Mina and May officially ended their friendship.

Mina put Mariah through a table at Full Gear. This past week on Dynamite, May attacked Shirakawa backstage and it was announced that The Glamour will defend her AEW Women's World Title against Mina at Dynamite Winter is Coming in a few weeks.

Moreover, this will be the first time Mina Shirakawa and Mariah May will wrestle each other since their STARDOM days. It remains to be seen who will walk out as the champion.
