The seeds may have been already been planted for Bobby Lashley's first blockbuster match in AEW. WWE legend Tommy Dreamer has shared his reaction to this major bout which could already be in the making.

The October 30, 2024, edition of Dynamite was main evented by Swerve Strickland going one-on-one against Shelton Benjamin, a bout that was made official after The New Flavor rejected MVP's offer of joining forces with him and The Gold Standard and refused to back down from the latter.

While Strickland did defeat Benjamin this past Wednesday, the former AEW World Champion and his manager Prince Nana were on the receiving end of a beatdown at the hands of The Standard of Excellence, MVP and a debuting Bobby Lashley. The Hurt Syndicate officially reformed in the Tony Khan-led promotion to close out the show.

Tommy Dreamer reacted to The All-Mighty's All Elite debut on a recent edition of Busted Open Radio. The WWE and ECW veteran speculated that the budding rivalry between Swerve and the former Hurt Business will possibly lead to a match between Strickland and Bobby Lashley at AEW Full Gear 2024. He also voiced praised for the former WWE Superstars on a personal and professional level.

"Obviously, they're trying to set [up] Full Gear," Dreamer said. "This should be a marquee match-up with ... about a three-week build. ... I think this group is good for business. ... I'm a massive fan of all those guys, from MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Bobby Lashley — both personally and professionally." [H/T - WrestlingInc.]

It remains to be seen how this developing feud between The Realest and The Hurt Syndicate will play out in All Elite Wrestling.
