A WWE veteran has joked that Vince McMahon has bought all the tickets to All In

AEW All In at Wembley Stadium is looking to be the hottest ticket in wrestling this summer, and WWE veteran Jim Cornette has jokingly stated that Vince McMahon is the one behind the record ticket sales.

All Elite Wrestling's debut in the United Kingdom has already broken multiple records despite the event being just under four months away and no matches being announced.

At the time of writing, All In has moved over 60,000 tickets in one week, which means that if everyone who has bought a ticket shows up, it will be the second-highest-attended wrestling event in the United Kingdom's history, surpassing the WWE Clash at the Castle event in September 2022.

Speaking on his podcast, The Jim Cornette Experience, the WWE veteran gave AEW their flowers by saying that All In is a huge achievement, before stating that the fact that Vince McMahon is back in WWE is a massive bonus for Tony Khan's company.

“This is again a massive self-hypnosis of the crowd that ‘we are going to will something into being the biggest g*d d**n thing because we hate the other promotion so bad.’—Not as much, the original All In was all about ‘we hate...’ but all of this is contributing now. You’ve got the incredibly dedicated and hungry wrestling fans that love every company in the UK and ‘we’ll go see anything’ but they’re going to see AEW because that’s the big show that’s coming up."

He added:

"You’ve also got the people that f**king—and now that Vince [McMahon] is back it’s the best boost to AEW’s business to have Vince McMahon back in the WWE, and as interferencing as possible because that stirs up the anti-WWE again . So again, like I said earlier in the program, every time either one of these companies does something good and is moving in a positive direction, it’s not necessarily the other company that does something bad to them, it’s their own selves.” [2:37-4:06]

Cornette's co-host Brian Last jokingly suggested that maybe it was Vince McMahon who bought all the tickets just to spite his competition, to which Jim responded with this:

“Well he spent 20 million [dollars] for p***y so he might spend six or seven million to put an empty arena in the competition’s backyard.” [6:25-6:33]

Jim Cornette does feel Vince McMahon has something to do with AEW All In selling so many tickets

While the hype for AEW All In is a combination of the company going to a new country and the scale of the event, Jim Cornette does believe that Vince McMahon has a small part to play in the record sales.

Cornette stated that a portion of the audience who have bought tickets to the show aren't going because they love AEW, it's because they hate WWE.

The wrestling veteran believes that Vince McMahon being a part of the creative direction of WWE again has left a bad taste in people's mouths, leading fans to rebel against the company and side with All Elite Wrestling.
