Vince Russo was once the head writer for WWE. During this time, he got to work closely with both Vince and Shane McMahon. There is a possibility he knows them both well and has witnessed their relationship up close during his time working for the Stamford-based promotion.

Speaking on a recent episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Outlaws, Russo commented that the 78-year-old, who was facing potential serious jail time, was probably reflecting back on his life and regretting the way he treated his son, Shane.

"There is a possibility of Vince [McMahon] spending the rest of his life in jail. Is this not a possibility where now as Vince reflects back on his life 'I treated my son like a piece of s**t and I've got X amount of time to make up for that. Is that not a possibility as a father?" said Russo. [10:20 - 10:50]

EC3 breaks down the apparent narcissism of Vince McMahon

Recently, there were reports that Shane McMahon expressed interest in AEW. This report shocked the wrestling world considering he was a McMahon. Although Tony Khan has since confirmed that he has not spoken to Shane, however, the rumors continue to rumble throughout the wrestling universe.

During the same episode of the podcast, Vince Russo suggested that Vince McMahon could try to mend fences with his son, now that he is facing potential jail time, and he could purchase AEW and put Shane in charge. However, Dr. Chris argued that Vince McMahon was a narcissist and he would blame everyone except himself for his problems. This is when EC3 broke down Vince's narcissism.

"When I was reading and listening to the Laws of Human Nature by Robert Green and he was describing narcissists, I was like you just know exactly who he's talking about and then each field that he's talking about at a high level, all right, a gentleman like Vince McMahon may fall in line so never. He's [Dr. Chris] saying never. Never would he ever do that because it's so far gone, he's so far gone....would never happen or hear me on this....He's doing it for that reason because 'I did turn over a new leaf. Look at me now. I'm a new man. I want to make my son right. I did all these great things' and then here comes the big old switch afterwards because he was a narcissist all along. It's a double play," said EC3.
