MJF brutally disrespected a masked legend at AEW Summer Blockbuster 2025 and labeled him as a sloppy Sin Cara. This is something that caught everyone off guard, given that it was a WWE reference.
Maxwell Jacob Friedman uses a lot of WWE references, and this was just the latest one from him. At Summer Blockbuster 2025, the Hurt Syndicate was scheduled to take on Mistico, Speedball Mike Bailey, and Mascara Dorada in a trios match.
Before the match, Mistico took the microphone and cut a promo on MJF and said that he couldn't wait to take him on next week in Mexico City. The former AEW World Champion is not one to keep quiet, and he hit back immediately and touched on a ghost from Mistico’s past: his time in WWE.
