AEW has significant momentum after two of its biggest annual events, and ahead of the expected TV deal announcement. The rumor mill continues to tease potential roster additions, and speculation on one major act is now picking up.
Bobby Lashley and MVP recently left WWE as their contracts expired. While Cedric Alexander recently re-signed with the company, Shelton Benjamin was released almost one year ago, leading to continued rumors of a reunion of The Hurt Business. A new name for the group was recently established amid talks on Lashley, MVP, and Benjamin likely signing with Tony Khan.
The former Hurt Business members are set to arrive in All Elite Wrestling soon, according to another credible source. A fan on X/Twitter asked WrestlePurists' Ibou if there's a chance The All Mighty and his faction debut for Khan soon. He responded with a simple "yes," in the latest strong indication that we could see MVP, Lashley, and Benjamin in AEW.

The question on former Hurt Business members signing with AEW came during a discussion on Khan needing strong names to help fill in the gaps while top talents are on hiatus. MJF and Swerve Strickland are reportedly taking some time off following All Out.
Lashley, MVP, and Benjamin are all free to sign with Khan at any time, but the decision comes down to the All Elite President. Alexander's new WWE deal is said to be for multiple years.
AEW's return to pay-per-view
All Elite Wrestling is moving forward after presenting All In and All Out with less than two weeks between the big events. WrestleDream is scheduled for Saturday, October 12 at Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington, which is Swerve Strickland's hometown.
No matches for the second annual WrestleDream are official as of now. Rumored title matches include World Champion Bryan Danielson vs. Jon Moxley or Christian Cage, International Champion Will Ospreay vs. Ricochet, and Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada vs. Konosuke Takeshita.
WrestleDream will be held in honor of the legendary Antonio Inoki, as the inaugural show was last year. The company has two more pay-per-views booked for 2024 after WrestleDream, Full Gear on November 23, and Worlds End on December 28.
