When Shaquille O'Neal revealed challenges of his sexual life owing to his size: “It’s all about geometry, 7’1”, that’s why you gotta arch that back”

During his 19-year playing career, Shaquille O'Neal was one of the most dominant centers in the history of the NBA. Part of why he was able to run through the league is because of his massive size. Standing at seven-foot-one and 325 pounds, few players could physically measure up to him.

While this massive size might have helped on the basketball court, Shaquille O'Neal might struggle at times during everyday tasks. Earlier this year, the LA Lakers legend appeared on "The Pivot Podcast" to discuss this.

During the interview, a conversation ensued about Shaq's size. One of the hosts took this as an opportunity to ask a very personal question. Seeing that he is much larger than most people, Shaq was asked how he has sex with such a height difference. As expected, the Hall of Fame big man gave a comical answer.

"It's all about geometry. Seven foot one... that's why you got to arch that back a little bit."

After the laughter died, Shaquille O'Neal finally responded that he is a virgin and was "saving himself."

Does Shaquille O'Neal have any children?

The podcast hosts might think Shaquille O'Neal struggles with sex, but that does not seem to be the case. The former MVP currently has five biological children and one stepchild.

In 2002, Shaq married Shaunie Nelson. During their marriage, they had four children. Nelson already had a son from a previous relationship, and Shaq had a daughter with his ex-girlfriend.

To no surprise, athletics runs in the family. Shaq's oldest son Shareef O'Neal, 22, is now trying to earn his spot in the NBA. He spent the summer playing for the LA Lakers Summer League team and now plays in the G-League for G-League Ignite. Shaq is so confident in his son's abilities that he recently challenged Scottie Pippen and his son to a game of two-on-two for a large sum of money.

Shaqir O'Neal,19, another of Shaq's sons, is making his way through the college ranks. After redshirting his first year, the six-foot-seven forward made his debut for Texas Southern University this season.

Shaqir is not the only O'Neal to play basketball at Texas Southern. One of Shaq's daughters, Amirah O'Neal, 21, also took her talents to the hardwood. She started her college career at LSU, where her father played before going pro. However, she opted to transfer in 2021.

It's safe to say that Shaquille O'Neal left his mark on basketball in this generation and the next.
